Oops.

Not a day goes by without some politician, community leader or celebrity taking a principled stance against “gun violence.”

I am not an anti-gun person by any measure.

I remember being an intern and I remember hiring them.

Just three months ago, a deranged gunman opened fire in an elementary school in Newtown, Conn.

I’m fed up with the arguments for and against same sex marriage and want to propose a radical new solution to this issue dividing America: Get government out of the relationship business.

Look, I struggle with the idea of more government regulation and infringements upon liberty, but something has to be done!

Just in case you forgot about the draconian cuts in federal spending, referred to as the sequestration (and by “cuts” I mean a reduction in the rate of increase year to year), AND the ongoing fight over a continuing resolution to fund the government past March, the president wants you to know about all the hardships YOU, the American public, are going to feel.
