Welcome to International Screen-Free Week. You are excused if you didn’t know it was happening, or if you feel guilty you are reading this on a SCREEN.

The idea is to detach from screens in schools, homes and everywhere else and instead read, play, daydream … or just “be.” While this may sound completely crazy to some of you, myself included, there is an argument that life may be passing you by while you stare at a screen nearly every waking hour of the day.

Just how different could your life be if you were more aware of the world around you? This video makes a pretty compelling argument that the term “drastically” might apply.
