Thirty-two years old. Paralyzed after falling out of a tree. Wife expecting his first child and he CHOSE to end his own life?

While I fully support everyone’s choice of how and if they want to live, was this decision made too soon after the injury? I can only imagine the emotions and stress you would go through waking up to this new reality, but is death the best answer?
