Suburban Phoenix teen killed in hit-and-run

PHOENIX — A teenage boy has been killed in a hit-and-run in the West Valley, police said.

The 15-year-old was crossing Bethany Home Road and 67th Avenue in Glendale on Thursday night when he was struck by two cars.

Witnesses said the first vehicle, a light-color four-door sedan, didn’t stop.

The second driver pulled over after hitting the boy, who died in a hospital Friday morning.
