Bring your tissues, as ‘Batkid Begins’ opens in select cities this summer

You already know who Miles Scott is. You were introduced to him two Novembers ago when he was seen saving San Francisco…ahem…Gotham City from seedy villains and nefarious figures.

At the time, you knew him better as “Batkid” — a five-year-old little boy posing as a pint-sized version of the Dark Knight, who for a day, was able to forget about a terrible disease called cancer and instead live out his dream to become a superhero.

The trailer for Batkid Begins is as much about the incredible inspiration young Miles and the Make-a-Wish Foundation gave to people around the world, as it is about the boy’s battle with leukemia, meaning it’s sure to make more than a few movie theaters rather dusty when it’s released in select cities June 26.
