Demi Moore’s New York City apartment hits market at $75M

For a cool $75 million, you too can live like Bruce Willis and Demi Moore did back in the early 1990s.

Moore’s deluxe apartment in the New York sky is on the market for what could be a record-shattering closing for an Upper West Side co-op. According to The New York Times, the triplex south tower penthouse, dubbed “the last unicorn of Manhattan,” spans the top two floors of the historic San Remo building, which has also been home to other celebrities such as Dustin Hoffman, Diane Keaton and Steven Spielberg over the years.

Moore and Willis bought the property in 1990 from “Saturday Night Fever” producer Robert Stigwood. She told the Times she had been spending a lot more time in her other homes and that her apartment at the San Remo is “too magnificent not to be lived in full-time.” That’s why the “Ghost” and “Indecent Proposal” star is offering up her luxury digs for someone else to enjoy.

The $75 million price tag will not only get you one of the best terrace views of New York City’s iconic skyline, it also gets you six bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a two-bedroom maisonette with a private entrance, a media room and a library, all amid roughly 7,000 square feet of interior living space.

It might also get you an occasional Bono sighting from across the way. The U2 rocker reportedly bought the San Remo’s adjacent north tower penthouse from late Apple CEO Steve Jobs back in 2008.

Those interested in snapping up Moore’s barely-lived-in Central Park West pad should also know $75 million will only cover the entry fee to grandeur. Maintenance costs are extra: More than $20,000 a month to cover the penthouse and the maisonette.
