Sky Harbor sees increase in Sky Train riders

More and more people are using the PHX Sky Train at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, according to a Phoenix Business-Journal report.

The train links from the airport to Phoenix’s Metro light rail system, now beginning at Terminal 3, passing through Terminal 4 and dropping riders at the 44th Street light rail stop.

Last month, the train averaged 13,000 passengers daily, according to an airport spokesperson.

Sky Train, which opened in 2013, will eventually extend to Sky Harbor’s rental car center.
