WATCH: Judge Sherry Stephens sentences Jodi Arias
On Monday KTAR News 92.3 will air a special two-hour edition of “Legally Speaking: The Jodi Arias Trial” from 7-9 p.m. with Monica Lindstrom, Mike Russell and Martha Maurer.
PHOENIX — Convicted murderer Jodi Arias is expected to learn her fate on Monday. When the second jury failed to reach a unanimous decision on life or death, the decision went to Judge Sherry Stephens.
Judge Stephens has the option to give Arias life without parole or to have a chance at being released after 25 years.
The mistrial in March removed
the death penalty as an option.
It’s not known if Arias will speak to Judge Stephens before she hands
down the sentence. Family members of victim Travis Alexander can also address
the court.
