A Palmetto, Florida, woman spends her Easter donating hundreds of baskets to local children, the Huffington Post reported.

For the past nine years, Lee Hardy has put together hundreds of baskets filled with toys and treats for the children in her community. This year alone, she has put together and distributed about 600 baskets.

Hardy said she began the project to make sure every child is able to celebrate the holiday and provides most of the funds herself, with some donations from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

“When I have a little extra money, I take it to the dollar store and buy stuff for the baskets,” Hardy said in an interview with the Huffington Post. “That’s just what I do.”

Hardy works with the Faith Community Church to try and reach her annual goal of 1,000 baskets.
