Movies in a Minute: ‘Home’

A cute alien lands on Earth while on the run from his people and his planet. He makes friends with Tip, who is out on her own journey. Through their meeting, the two learn what it is to have friendship and make mistakes.

While this movie is cute and has a lot of star-powered voices, it falls flat when you compare it to movies like “Wreck-It Ralph” and “The Lego Movie.” Where those movies are able to entertain adults and children, I would say this is specifically for kids. It felt to me like a 90-minute Saturday morning cartoon.
