The police already have a head start on solving this crime. Your tips may be just what they need to wrap it up.

Phoenix Police Sgt. Derek Elmore said, “We have two suspects. One of the suspects, who was eventually arrested, is Kenneth Palmer.”

The crime happened at Discount Tobacco Smoke Shop at 32nd and Roosevelt streets on Jan. 7, 2014, just after 6:30 p.m. The owner and two of his friends were inside the store when two armed men burst through the doors. One of the men, Palmer, was wearing a bandanna over his face and carrying a sawed-off shotgun. A fight broke out.

“Kenneth Palmer actually discharged the shotgun, striking one of the owner’s friends,” said Elmore. “The owner then overpowered Palmer, grabbed the shotgun, gained control of it and gained control of Palmer. He was able to hold him until police arrived.”

The other robber, whose face can be seen clearly in surveillance pictures, took off with stolen property and money.

Palmer isn’t giving-up any information about his accomplice, so investigators need your help finding him.
