Arizona Office of Tourism campaigns for visitors around nation

The Arizona Office of Tourism is campaigning around the nation to attract visitors.

“Our warm weather message is very key, because we do have 325 days of sun, and many of the places we are promoting to don’t have that,” said Karen Cahn with the Arizona Office of Tourism.

The Arizona tourism industry brings in nearly $20 billion a year, and has created hundreds of thousands of jobs.

“Our whole mission is to bring awareness to Arizona and the fact that it is a premier travel destination,” she said. “But yet it’s also very diverse and there is so much to do for whatever your interests may be.”
