Taylor Swift surprises Boston cancer patient

A 6-year-old Boston boy had quite the visitor in his hospital room over the weekend.

Music star Taylor Swift dropped by Boston Children’s Hospital on Sunday to surprise Jordan Nickerson, who is battling leukemia. Swift is his favorite artist.

Swift not only talked Play-Doh and Spider-Man with Nickerson, she also played some air hockey.

And of course, what appearance would be complete without a sing-a-long? Swift busted out her guitar to play one of Nickerson’s favorite tunes, “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

Swift is no stranger to surprising people. In April, she showed up at a fan’s bridal shower.

Nickerson’s parents regularly post updates on their son’s fight on a Facebook page.
