Julia Roberts, Jimmy Fallon throw balls at each other’s faces

Read that headline again. Again. And once more for posterity because it’s real. This actually happened.

During an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” Julia Roberts was invited to play his newest game, “Face Balls.”

It’s exactly what it sounds like. You throw a clear vinyl ball in the other person’s face and then watch the replay via a high-speed, super slow-motion camera.

It all starts out tame enough, with both Roberts and Fallon both having a laugh after their tosses. Then it gets good.

Roberts throws hard, Fallon throws harder and the balls get bigger. Just watch.
