What’s it like to spend life in professional baseball?
Can you imagine that you have a job in which you go to your office every day while, at the same time, you go to a baseball game — and you do it for 63 years?
Roland Hemond imagined it, did it and is still doing it as a front office executive with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In those years with the Chicago White Sox, the Baltimore Orioles and other MLB teams, Roland worked with the greats of the game — hall of famers — and was the recipient of several awards himself.
The career of Roland Hemond easily allows us to ask, “What’s it like to spend life in professional baseball?”
