Sometimes in life there are moments when words just won’t suffice.

Generally, when moments demand a song, it’s a special moment — a birthday, a goodbye, a wedding. It’s the icing on the cake that everyone talks about for years and receives a lot of praise online.

But one dad, Benji Cowart, is turning the song away from a sweet memento. When Cowart’s daughter’s boyfriend asked for his blessing, he wasn’t exactly thrilled. Rather than explain it to the guy, Cowart decided to write a song and post it to YouTube.
