It’s amazing what one YouTube video can do to change a person’s life.

According to the Huffington Post, one video is changing the life of Andrew “Nelly” Niel, a musician who was playing music on the street and rediscovered on YouTube by online celebrity Rob Chapman.

On Feb. 16, a few weeks earlier, Chapman had been walking those same streets when he heard the mesmerizing sounds of Niel’s guitar for the first time. Inspired, he filmed Niel jamming and uploaded the video to YouTube. It quickly racked up more than 100,000 hits and earned 80 British pounds (about $132.) Now, Chapman was giving that money to its rightful owner.

When Chapman went to give Niel his money, he decided to set Niel up with a YouTube and Facebook page to sell his albums and make money.

The catch? Niel is no stranger to the music industry. He was a well-known producer in the ’90s. He fell on hard times after a personal tragedy and has been struggling ever since.

But thanks to Chapman and the Internet, it looks like Niel is starting to bounce back.
