David Beckham may bare it all in Super Bowl ad

Should soccer star-turned-underwear-model David Beckham be “#covered” or “#uncovered” in his new H&M ad, which will air during the Super Bowl?

Do we even need to ask this question?

Beckham has filmed two endings for a 30-second commercial for David Beckham Bodywear. There’s one where he ends up at a photo shoot essentially naked and another where he’s slightly more covered and wearing underwear.

Beginning Monday, fans will be able to cast their votes online or in stores to determine how the commercial should end.

I vote #uncovered.

Personally, I’m just curious to see how H&M is going to get that past the TV sensors. Of course, it will probably be Beckham in his birthday suit with just the right lighting so nothing is truly revealed.

I will give H&M credit for a great marketing idea. And, truth be told, I’m one of those people who watch the Super Bowl for the ads as much as for the game itself.

I’m looking forward to seeing whether my #uncovered wish comes true. If it does, let’s just hope we’re not disappointed.
