Train sings along to ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’

A man in Australia was able to brighten everyone’s commute with a sing-along to “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.”

Peter Sharp helped slowly guide the people on the train to be involved by starting with a speech to encourage the crowd, saying “because it’s not what we have, it’s what we enjoy that brings us happiness” to end the speech.

The next step was passing lyrics to the song around while a ukulele was playing as Sharp let the people know that there was “no pressure.”

The participation amongst the crowd was actually present at the start, but it was tentative at best. Awkward looks, smiles, and laughs were exchanged all over the train.

Of course, there were those who chose to document the event instead of participating.

Some in the group would build confidence and eventually really sing, with a couple of people even moving along to the motions of the song.

The best part of the video and why it should be seen as a resounding success were the smiles at the end, as it clearly had a positive effect on all of those involved.
