Little girl’s customized eyepatches become Web sensation

A Chicago-area father is making his cute infant daughter even cuter by creating customized eyepatches for her every day to make treatment for her medical condition more bearable.

Layla has a small cataract in her left eye, forcing her to wear an eyepatch for two hours each day until she is 5.

To brighten those days, Geoff Grubb creates designs ranging from a ladybug to Care Bears to the Chicago Cubs logo. He told the Today show he’s also open to suggestions.

The Instagram account is warming the hearts of their over 10,000 followers.
