Chris Farley documentary hits theaters late this month

A popular comedian and “Saturday Night Live” standout is finally being immortalized on the big screen.

“I Am Chris Farley” details the life and tragic death of comic and actor Farley, who passed away from a drug overdose in 1997.

Adam Sandler, Jay Mohr, David Spade and Bob Saget remember their best memories of Farley and reminisce about both the good and bad. Family members including his brother and fellow comedian Kevin also weigh in.

The film will hit theaters in Phoenix, but times and theaters are still to be announced. The documentary will also come to the small screen, with its world television premiere August 10 on Spike.
