Guitarist arranges a different version of ‘Beat It’

If you are a Michael Jackson fan, you’ll still recognize this classic song, even without words.

The melody of Jackson’s hit “Beat It” is transformed in this instrumental arrangement by guitarist Miguel Rivera.

My objective was to play all of this parts together: the main riff, the vocal melody and the percussion part. I had to find the proper tuning and make good use of the harmonics but in the end I got it.

Rivera also added in tapping to the song, a take on Eddie Van Halen’s version.
