AMC releases new trailer for ‘Fear the Walking Dead’

The Internet was abuzz Friday when AMC released a new trailer for it’s “Fear the Walking Dead” series.

The new show is a spin-off from the massively popular “The Walking Dead,” which has set cable viewership records.

Whereas the original is based in the South, “Fear the Walking Dead” takes place in California and serves as a prequel to the original.

The new trailer does not show any zombies, but features one of the characters, Nick, running from…something. Given the show takes place in an urban environment, we’re guessing there’s going to be a lot more running than the original.

“Fear the Walking Dead” is scheduled to premier in August.
