Phoenix police looking for male suspect in Subway armed robbery

PHOENIX — Police are searching for a suspect wanted for armed robbery of a Subway sandwich restaurant located at 7828 N 19th Avenue in Phoenix.

On Wednesday May 27 at about 5:22 p.m., the suspect entered the Subway restaurant and brandished a firearm. According to police, the suspect demanded money from the cashier who was being held at gunpoint. The cashier complied and gave the suspect $120 from the register. The suspect eventually fled on foot.

The suspect has been described as a 33-year-old white male standing approximately 5-foot-11, 170 pounds with black hair and unshaven facial hair. He was last seen wearing a white “Metal Mulisha” t-shirt, white pants, black athletic shoes and a large black knit cap.
