Stop what you’re doing and listen to this Broadway airport sing-off
“Hakuna matata” is usually not a phrase that comes to mind while in an airport — a place typically known for expensive ticket prices, delayed flights and lost luggage.
But fliers stuck at New York’s LaGuardia airport from a storm Sunday night got a special treat; The casts of two Broadway musicals, “The Lion King” and “Aladdin,” had an impromptu sing-off!
Of course, these men and women can SING! The casts belted out goosebump-inducing renditions of the shows’ opening numbers — Circle of Life and Arabian Nights, respectively.
Maybe Sky Harbor International Airport can hire these guys for some pre-flight entertainment!
