Patient sings, plays guitar while undergoing brain surgery

Who would have thought multitasking could look so easy?

In a video posted to YouTube, a man can be seen singing and playing guitar — all while undergoing brain surgery.

Anthony Kulkamp Dias, 33, sang and played guitar while Dr. Mark Ghizoni and his staff performed a brain tumor extraction surgery, according to a translation from the video’s description.

The description goes on to say patients undergoing this type of surgery are kept awake and have to carry out tests throughout, but they usually only go as far as gestures and talking between the patient and surgical team.

Dias managed to sing and play guitar during his surgery, much to the delight of his doctors. He performed several songs, including “Yesterday” by The Beatles.
