Does Miss USA have the right message for terrorists?

This is the story that YOU wanted to hear us talk about! It received 50 percent of the vote in our Radioactive poll!

Every year during the Miss Universe pageants, contestants are asked to contribute their thoughts and solutions to controversial issues in society today.

Miss USA, Nia Sanchez, was asked by professional boxer Manny Pacquiao, “If you were given 30 seconds to deliver a message to a global terrorist, what would you say?”

Sanchez replied, “I would just say that, you know, I know as Miss USA I could always spread a message of hope and love and peace, and so I would do my very best to spread that message to them and everyone else in the world.”

Blame it on Pacquiao’s accent or on Sanchez’s lack of worldly knowledge, her answer was quickly relayed on social media, who had a field day with it.

Fox News contributor and former Miss New York Joanne Nosuchinsky:

Despite a cliched answer and endless mockery on social media, Sanchez walked away as the runner-up.
