Police searching for man who committed aggravated robbery at Phoenix convenience store

PHOENIX — Valley law enforcement agencies are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who committed aggravated robbery at a Phoenix convenience story in September.

Silent Witness said the suspect entered a Circle K store on Sept. 21 at around 4:15 a.m. and made the clerk and one customer go behind the counter. The man tied the two victims’ hands with zip ties and made them sit on the floor.

The man then allegedly secured the front doors with a zip tie and placed a “closed” sign on the door. After that, he lifted several cartons of cigarettes and took from a coin machine tray before fleeing the store and jumping into a vehicle that was driven by another suspect.

The robber is a white male in his mid-40s who is about 5-foot-9 and 195 pounds with brown hair. He was wearing a red bandanna, a short-sleeved khaki shirt and light-colored shorts at the time.

Police have no description of the second suspect, who was driving a silver 1990 Buick.

The Circle K is located at 20202 N. 7th Ave.
