Phoenix police searching for masked convenience store robber

PHOENIX — Valley law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who stole several items and assaulted a woman at a Phoenix convenience store last month.

Silent Witness said a masked man entered a Circle K store in southeast Phoenix on early Monday, Oct. 27, just after 2 a.m. and took items from behind the cash register. The store is located at 3201 E. Chandler Blvd.

According to police, he grabbed a woman as he was leaving, forced her behind the counter and shoved her against the register until it opened. The female victim is in her 20s.

The suspect then fled on foot with stolen money and merchandise.

The suspect is a black male who is between 6 feet and 6-foot-2 and is between 180 and 200 pounds and 20 to 25 years old. He has brown eyes and silver teeth and was last seen wearing a black ski mask and a white, sleeveless T-shirt with black shoes and black shorts under tan shorts.
