Supreme Court to review another Obamacare legal challenge

This is the story that YOU wanted to hear us talk about! It received 61 percent of the vote in our Radioactive poll!

According to CNN, the Supreme Court will continue to review Obamacare.

More specifically, the justices will take a closer look at one of Obamacare’s fundamental provisions: tax credits that subsidize health coverage purchased on federal charges, which is a focal point of the law in certain states.

If the Supreme Court rejects them, Obamacare coverage could vanish for millions of Americans.

Oral arguments regarding the provision will be held next year, and a ruling is expected by June.

In 2012, the Supreme Court upheld another key element of the law in which taxes are paid by residents who don’t sign up for health insurance; this latest inspection of Obamacare comes on the heels of Republicans who now have full control of Congress and are pledging to repeal the law.

Since only 14 states and the District of Columbia set up their own exchanges, the 4.7 million who signed up for coverage through HealthCare.gov could be affected.
